Published in 2022, this catalogue raisonne rediscovers and evaluates the work of Czech-born Slovak sculptor Maria Bartuszová (1936 – 1996). Divided into four chronological chapters, the monograph provides a comprehensive overview of her sculpture, her original techniques and methods, themes and ideas that proved central to her prolific practice. Maria Bartuszová's solo exhibition at Tate Modern, London, which opened in September 2022, drew attention to the artist's work. The publication features essays from curators and academics such as Ruth Noack, Joanna Mytkowska, Noemi Smolik and Jan Verwoert.

Czech-born Slovak sculptor Maria Bartuszová (1936 – 1996) studied at the Ceramics and Porcelain Studio at Prague’s Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, and spent most of her life in Košice, Slovakia. This Catalogue Raisonné provides a comprehensive overview of her sculpture, her original techniques and methods, and themes and ideas she explored that have remained undiscovered for a long time.
