The artist and filmmaker Jasmina Cibic (b. 1979, Ljubljana, SI) explores the entanglements of state power, culture and gender constructions in her multimedia works. This catalog documents Cibic's exhibition Most Favored Nation in the Museum der Moderne Salzburg, her first museum exhibition in Austria. This presents the work of an outstanding European artist who critically examines the history of the instrumentalization of the arts for political ideologies in order to raise awareness of the power mechanisms at work in the present.
