The Double You Series. Günther Selichar

"The Double You Series" is based on the group of works of the same name by Günther Selichar, which was created between 2020 and 2022. Instead of text, the artist book contains images of words. They are color images from four different monitors with different pixel shapes and scans from different printed publications with various fonts. You can read the questions “Who?”, “What?”, “Where?”, “When?”, “Why?” They structure the research work of journalists and the structure of their texts The media artist and theorist uses his textual depictions to bridge the gap between early printed mass-media reproductions and texts on screens.The book encourages reflection on facts that are now often replaced by narratives.
